Matthew Zick's passion for pursuit of justice has led him to effectively represent clients for over 25 years in criminal and license restoration cases. With a primary focus in Felony Defense and an emphasis on Criminal Sexual Conduct (CSC) cases, he is a tireless and powerful advocate for his clients in their time of need. He has also co-authored a book titled, Get Your Michigan Driver's License Back! which can be found on Amazon.

Mr. Zick handles all types of criminal cases including both felonies and misdemeanors as well as traffic tickets. The license restoration matters he handles include Secretary of State Administrative Hearings; Appeals to Circuit Court; and major violations of the Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Device (B.A.I.I.D.).

Mr. Zick received his Doctorate of Law in 1993 from Wayne State University Law School after completing his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1990 from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. He has served on numerous boards including in the capacity as President of the Downriver Bar Association. For the past twelve years, Mr. Zick has served as the Prosecutor representative on the 23rd District Court Regional DWI Sobriety Court Program.

Matt is also active in the community. He has lived in the Downriver area for almost fifty (50) years. Among other things, he has served as President of the Riverview Board of Education, coached in the Riverview Baseball Association (RBA), repeatedly served as a WATCH D.O.G.S. volunteer at Forest Elementary School, spoken several times at Wyandotte's Wilson Middle School Career Day and served as a featured presenter to local high school students about the dangers of distracted driving.
